The focus is on listeners 40 & above, the- emphasis is on modern international blues music from around the world – I know that I am being listened to as far afield as Budapest; Johannesburg; Cape Town; etc. I have also showcased blues from the Middle East!

The essence of the show is to remain current – capture a new breed of blues lovers (listeners) and at the same time allow new blues artists to either be interviewed by phone or coming into the studio. I am very keen, and have discussed this with Justin Cox as well, that the two of us, when our outside broadcast vehicle is adequately kitted-out, to take the blues to venues in and around the outer eastern suburbs. This might mean either Tuesday evenings, or Sunday afternoons at, for example, The Basin or the Heathmont Bowls Club – two venues known for life blues and rock music. This will be beneficial for Radio Eastern FM98.1 to get our message out there! We support the Blues! Radio Eastern FM 98.1
