Steven Wells talk at Ringwood garden club, Monday 23rd September 7.30pm

Steven Wells talk at Ringwood garden club, Monday 23rd September 7.30pm

Steven Wells is a nurse, horticultural therapist & garden & grounds coordinator at Austin Health,
Steven will talk about the health benefits of the garden, how he provides horticultural therapy for patients at Royal Talbot every week, using garden activities.
After dedicating his career to nursing & horticulture, Steven hopes that awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability in Healthcare continues to grow & that nurses & midwifes continue to use their voice to advocate for change to protect the health & wellbeing of generations to come.
Environmental sustainability should be one of the key pillars in a healthcare organization, including promoting sustainability and facilitating sustainable practices.
