Brian Amos

Brian has worked in radio for more than 50 years and was the in house Radio Presenter at a local shopping centre for 30 years. Brian joined Radio Eastern after he was forced to retire due to ill health in 1990 and joined Radio Eastern in 1991.

He has been an active member of the station as a member of the Programming Committee; he has served on the Committee of Management serving as Vice President, and is a past President of the station.

In 2005 he was honoured with a Life membership of Radio Eastern FM. In 2006 he received the highest award for local theatre when he was inducted into the Lyrebird Hall of Fame.

<p In 2009 he was also inducted into the Australian Country Music Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Tamworth. Brian is married to Joan and they have two sons and five grandchildren.
