To all Members of Eastern Community Broadcasters Inc.
Eastern Community Broadcasters Inc. wishes to advise members that the Annual General Meeting will be held on 20th October 2024 in Catamore Hall, Wyreena Community Centre, 13-23 Hull Road, Croydon 3136 commencing at 2pm.
The AGM gives members the opportunity to hear how your station is progressing and see how we are planning to move towards 2025 and the formulation of our licence renewal application that is due that year.
- Three positions on the management committee will be declared vacant and all financial members of the incorporation are eligible to nominate for these positions.
- Nominations will open on 16th September 2024 and remain open for two weeks, closing at 5pm 29th September 2024.
Nomination forms are available and can be downloaded from the website. All nominations must be submitted using this form.- Proxy voting forms are available for those members unable to attend on the day.
The Formal Business of the Meeting:
- Receive and consider the audited financial statements
- Elect members of the Committee of Management – three vacancies are to be filled.
- Any other business that may be brought forward in accordance with the Rules of the Association
At the conclusion of the formal business, the Committee of Management will facilitate an open Q & A forum from the floor.
Following the AGM, you are invited to join with other members for an afternoon tea. This gives all our members the opportunity to catch up with the volunteers working at the station along with other members.
